Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Innovative Power Solutions AI (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Job Search Wizard (the “Service”). We built the Service to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Content you give us: your resume (typed, pasted, or uploaded), the job posting, your target job title, and, only if you choose, the optional check-in text about how you are doing.
• Payment information: when you pay, Stripe processes it. We never see or store your full card details. We may receive limited confirmation and billing information from Stripe.
• Basic technical data: to keep the Service running and prevent abuse, our servers briefly process your IP address for rate limiting. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

• We use the content you provide only to generate your application materials.
• To do that, we send your text to our AI provider, Anthropic (the Claude API), which processes it to produce your results. According to Anthropic’s policies, data sent through their API is not used to train their models.
• We use technical data only to operate and protect the Service.

What we store

• We do not store your resume, job posting, target title, or check-in text on our servers. Your text is processed in memory to create your results and then discarded.
• Your results exist only in your browser during your session and disappear when you close the tab or start over. There are no accounts and nothing is saved for later.
• If you choose to send feedback at the end, that feedback (your answer and any comment) is sent to us so we can improve the Service.

Who we share it with

• Anthropic, to generate your results.
• Stripe, to process payment.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except as required by law.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not store your content, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or delete after your session ends. If you are a California resident, you have rights under California law to know about and request deletion of personal information. Given how little we keep, most requests are already satisfied by the fact that we do not retain your content. You can contact us any time at the email below.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information in transit. No method is perfectly secure, and you share information at your own risk. Please avoid pasting anything you would not want processed by an AI provider.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top when we do.
